Natascha McElhone
NATASCHA McELHONE was last seen in the British indie film THE KID opposite Rupert Friend and Ioan Gruffud, who she also co-starred with in the children's fantasy film THE SECRET OF MOONACRE. McElhone established herself as a talented leading actress in 1995 in her first film, Merchant Ivory's SURVIVING PICASSO, opposite Anthony Hopkins; followed by THE TRUMAN SHOW; THE DEVIL'S OWN; and John Frankenheimer's action epic RONIN, co-starring Robert De Niro. She also starred opposite Kenneth Branagh in William Shakespeare's LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST. In 2003, McElhone co-starred with George Clooney in Steven Soderbergh's SOLARIS. She previously shared the title role in MRS. DALLOWAY with Vanessa Redgrave. She also starred in the Golden Globe®-nominated mini-series THE COMPANY. In 2005, she co-starred in the Emmy®-nominated mini-series Revelations. McElhone's major film credits include CITY OF GHOSTS, LAUREL CANYON, LADIES IN LAVENDER and the original BBC production of THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL. McElhone's early stage credits include starring roles in productions of RICHARD III, THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, THE CHERRY ORCHARD and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. In 2006, she starred in the West End production of the award-winning play HONOUR. She recently finished filming David Scheinmann's THEATRE OF DREAMS alongside Brian Cox and Toby Stephens.
