Ian Gallagher

Ian is the third Gallagher child, and apparently the most like their mother. He's in Army ROTC at school and is considering applying to West Point, if only he can get his grades up. He works at a local grocery store, where he's having an on-again/off-again gay affair with his married Muslim boss.

Cameron Monaghan

Over the past several years, Cameron Monaghan has constructed memorable characters for television and film that have placed him on the forefront of the entertainment business, as one of the most-watched and buzzed about actors in 2011. He landed his big break in 2003, booking his first theatrical role in THE MUSIC MAN as Winthrop Paroo opposite Victor Garber. In 2004, Monaghan booked roles on the FOX series MALCOM IN THE MIDDLE, and on Nickelodeon's NED'S DECLASSIFIED SCHOOL SURVIVAL GUIDE. He went on to also book roles in film, including a large supporting role in the 2006 comedy CLICK. Throughout 2009 and 2010, Monaghan booked a slew of guest star roles on some of the hottest series on television, including FOX's FRINGE, and TERRIERS, USA's MONK, CBS' THE MENTALIST and THREE RIVERS, and A&E's THE GLADES. Monaghan is set to become a household name in 2011, with some of the most challenging and memorable roles of his career. He is currently shooting the first season of Showtime's newest series SHAMELESS opposite William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum and special guest star Joan Cusack. The series, based on the UK television show, is centered on a lower-income family in Chicago; Monaghan portrays Macy's son, and Rossum's brother, 'Ian.' In addition to the series, Monaghan can also be seen as one of the leads in the upcoming highly buzzed about Disney film PROM, set for release in April 2011. Monaghan's extensive body of work has truly shown what a versatile actor he can be, booking comedies and dramas equally over the past few years. When not working, Monaghan likes to go to the movies, snowboard, participate in martial arts, and play the guitar and drums. He currently lives in the Los Angeles area with his family.
